Noida, located in Uttar Pradesh, North India, is only 10 km from New Delhi, and is one of the fastest developing cities of India. Akshardham temple stands on the banks of river Yamuna, spread in an area of 100 acres. A recent construction, the SwamiNarayan Temple is constructed without using steel and comprises of 9 decorated domes, 234 ornately carved pillars, a magnificent Gajendra Pith, 20 quadrangled shikars as well as 20000 statues of the divine personalities, acharyas , devotees and sadhus of India . Surrounded by beautifully laid out garden, the temple attracts lakhs of tourists from far and wide.

Noida Park, at the border of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, is a beautiful green area, possessing landscaped lawns and fountains that are lit up during the night. The major attraction here is the children’s park.
Noida Golf Course, located in the Sector 37, is an 18-hole course, with a large lake at the 7th hole. It was also the site of the historic battle of Delhi.
Film City, is only a few km away from Delhi, and has all the required essentialities for making films. Pollution free area spread in almost 100 acres, has also been developed as a lush green landscape, lakes, ponds, swimming pools, golf clubs, bewitching gardens.
Appughar, is one of the upcoming key attractions to the Noida amusement park. It is going to be categorized for children, teens and family. This park would constitute theme and water parks, malls, hotel, discotheques and multi-cuisine restaurants. The first phase is expected to be finished by December 2005, and would comprise the theme and water parks. |
